Free Initial Consultation

Initial phone consultations of 15-20 minutes to determine whether we might be a good fit are free of charge.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a place to explore feelings, thoughts, and behaviors within the context of a safe therapeutic relationship. The aim of individual therapy is to garner insights, facilitate change, and improve a person's quality of life. My standard fee for individual sessions, scheduled at 50 minutes, is $140.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a place for partners to explore their feelings, behaviors, interactions, communications, and goals. A couples therapist helps structure the conversations and facilitate the process. The aim of couples therapy is to increase connection, facilitate change, and improve relationship functioning. Couples sessions often require more time and are scheduled at 80 minutes with a fee of $200.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, check, and credit/debit card. If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Otherwise, you may be charged a no-show fee.

I reserve a limited number of spots for clients who pay a sliding-scale fee. If cost is a barrier, I encourage you to contact me to discuss if this would be an option.

Insurance

I do not accept insurance at this time. As an out-of-network provider, my clients and I plan treatment together without the constraints of an insurance company. This allows for a flexible treatment approach that is more responsive to your needs and preferences.

Many insurance companies offer out-of-network reimbursements for mental health services. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to understand what reimbursement options may be available. I am able to provide you a monthly superbill (itemized receipt of services) as needed that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. If you have any more questions about insurance or would like to discuss the pros and cons of utilizing out-of-network benefits, I am happy to discuss further.
